1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Quotio ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Quotio is a voice-to-quote application that lets you record estimates by voice, then uses transcription and AI to extract line items and labor, match prices from your price list, and generate PDF quotes. The app is offered on iOS and Android and may include free and paid (Premium) tiers with different limits and features (e.g. number of quotes per month, PDF watermark).
3. Account and Eligibility
You must create an account to use Quotio. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the app. By using Quotio for business (e.g. sending quotes to clients), you represent that you are allowed to do so and that your use complies with applicable laws.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Quotio only for lawful purposes. You must not: use the app to violate any law or third-party rights; upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data; abuse the service (e.g. excessive automated requests); or use the app in a way that could harm, disable, or overburden the service. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms.
5. Your Content and Data
You retain ownership of the content you provide (e.g. voice recordings, client details, price lists, business info). By using Quotio, you grant us the rights necessary to operate the service—for example, to store and process your audio and data, to use third-party services (transcription, AI, storage) as described in our Privacy Policy, and to generate and store PDFs. We do not use your content for marketing or to train third-party AI models beyond what is required to provide the quote and PDF generation features.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Premium (paid) features may be offered via in-app purchase (e.g. through Apple App Store or Google Play). Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by the applicable store and their terms apply. We may receive subscription status (e.g. active Pro) from our payment provider to enable or restrict features. Price and availability may change; we will not charge you more for an existing subscription period without your consent where required by law.
7. Disclaimers
Quotio is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, that transcripts or extracted quote data will be accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying quotes before sending them to clients. We are not liable for any business decisions or losses based on your use of the app.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quotio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claims related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or, if you have not paid, zero). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum permitted by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or for other operational or legal reasons. On termination, your right to use Quotio ceases. We will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy (e.g. account deletion removes your data from our systems).
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will post the updated terms with a new "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we may notify you in the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use of Quotio after the changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the app and may delete your account.
11. Contact and Governing Law
For questions about these terms or the app, contact us using the contact details provided in the app or on our website. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where prohibited.
